SERCAP Water Is Life! Art Contest

What does “Water Is Life!” mean to you?

SERCAP’s annual Water Is Life! Art Contest invites students in third, fourth, and fifth grades to share their creativity through artwork inspired by water. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, and other art forms are welcome.

How to submit artwork

Schools may submit entries in any of these ways:

Mail: Send hard copies of the artwork to the SERCAP office.
Email: Send high-resolution photographs of the artwork to your State Lead. Images at 300 ppi/dpi are preferred.
Pick-up: Contact your State Lead to discuss artwork pick-up.

Prizes and recognition

One first-place, one second-place, and one third-place winner will be selected from each state in SERCAP’s service region. Winners will receive a monetary gift card.

Awards will be distributed before SERCAP’s 2027 Water Is Life! Sneaker Ball on April 22, 2027.

Participation and media release

Artwork may be used on SERCAP’s website, social media pages, e-blasts, event program, and publications. Each winner must sign a release form giving SERCAP permission to use a picture of their artwork, the winner’s name, and a photograph of the winner.

Family members of SERCAP employees are not eligible to participate.
